The Morgan Stanley Foundation has awarded $750,000 in grants to local food banks in 15 cities across 11 states to support hunger-relief programs that deliver nutritious meals to children and families. Through its partnership with Feeding America, the Morgan Stanley Foundation has awarded more than $21 million to the organization and its network of 200 local food banks that help address childhood hunger through a series of programs that provide nutritious food to children and their families. These grants build on the foundation’s broader commitment to children’s health. Feeding America also serves as a lead national partner, along with KaBOOM!, in the United States for Morgan Stanley Healthy Cities, an innovative initiative that creates a hub with national and local nonprofits for wellness, nutrition and play resources that can underpin a child’s healthy start in life.
